At This Rate, We'll All Be Democrats
Yes, that once obese, drug dependent idiot Rush Limbaugh has stepped in it again. Commenting on Howard Dean's recommendation that election day be made a national holiday, the bloviating pumpkinhead suggested that it wouldn't make that much of a difference because "most of their voters don't work anyway."
Be careful what you wish for, Dumbo. The government is now reporting that U.S. employers added only 78,000 workers to their payroll in May, the weakest job growth in 21 months. The report has increased concerns on Wall Street that the economy is once again slowing. It was the smallest increase in nonfarm jobs since 2003 and well below the 185,000 increase that had been expected.
And now, with university students graduating and not enough jobs to employ them, the actual number of unemployed is expected to increase. So, if The Peach follows old-donkey-butt's trail of logic, with the number of people who "don't work anyway" increasing, things are looking pretty damn rosy for Democrats in '06.
