Smelling The Coffee

A recent Gallup Poll found that nearly 6 in 10 Americans believe troops should be withdrawn from Iraq. What is even more striking is the poll found that only 36% believe the number of troops should be kept at their current level.

The low marks came at the same time as the number of American soldiers killed eclipsed 1,700 over the weekend. The deaths are double the total number recorded a year ago (825).

Even more discouraging was the suicide car bombing of an unnamed senior U.S. diplomat. The diplomat was said to be unharmed by the blast, but the incident provided a reality check for both the U.S. and Iraqi governments and their feeble attempts to portray an increasing sense of order and calm.

Considering the aforementioned poll found that nearly 60% of Americans are now saying the Iraq conflict was not "worth it," and with daily news of attacks, more and more people are waking to the fact that the Iraq war has become nothing but a complete and utter failure.

Hey, great blog! Sounds like you need folgers coffee.

I love coffee and did a keyword search on folgers coffee and came up with your site. The association was close, anyway. Take care! Dave
