Four More Years!
No, that's not the sound of misguided Republicans chanting for the re-election of "Little Boots" Bush. Rather, it is the guesstimate of the Army's top general, Peter Schoomaker, as to how long current levels of Army forces may be kept in Iraq.
"We are now into '07-09' in our planning," Schoomaker said. If this rotation plan comes into being, troops would remain in Iraq beyond Bush's presidential term. What is also noteable about the projected rotation is that the army has abandoned its usual 12 month rotations for the stretched out two year stints.
The Peach would just like to say this about these plans: Mission Accomplished our fuzzy ass.
