This is winning?
Prior to Bush's expected veto of a war funding bill that would see our troops returning from a disastrous war which he created, the US military announced the death toll of American troops exceeded 100 for the month of April making it one of the deadliest in this war's ugly history. This raises the official count of US troops killed in Iraq to over 3,300 while the number of Iraqi casualities has well eclipsed tens of thousands. Yet, even without signs of improvement or coherent plan taking shape, the Bush administration continues to insist on this war's necessity.
The Peach joins others in their frustration over Bush's inept handling of Iraq, and fully supports politicians who are attempting to put a stop to this nightmare.
